On October 22, 2023, the Hungarian Embassy in Nicosia held a National Day reception with the participation of around 200 people. At the event, Alongside Ambassador dr. Krisztina Lakos, H.E. Marilena Raouna, Deputy Minister for European Affairs of Cyprus, gave a speech. The live music was provided by Erik Tempfli and Dani Görögh, and the Szanyi Bokréta folk dance group gave a dynamic performance. During the reception was shown the Hungaricum exhibition.
