On October 30, 2024, for the first time, our Embassy organized an EU HoMs lunch in Nicosia with the participation of the ambassadors of the EU member states. Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, was the guest of honor at the event.

On October 22, 2024., the Hungarian Embassy in Nicosia held a National Day reception with the participation of around 200 people. At the event, Alongside Ambassador dr. Krisztina Lakos, H.E. Marilena Raouna, Deputy Minister for European Affairs of Cyprus, gave a speech. The live music was provided by Erik Tempfli and Dani Görögh, and the Szanyi Bokréta folk dance group gave a dynamic performance. During the reception was shown the Hungaricum exhibition.
