On 18 September 2025, Wizz Air announced that it had reached 10 million Cypriot passengers and celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Larnaca base. The event, which was graced by the presence of Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis, was also attended by Ambassador Dr. Krisztina Lakos and Economic Attaché Réka Sarkadi.
