On the 16th of December Ferencz Orsolya, Hungary’s Ministerial Commissioner responsible for space policy, received George A. Danos, President of the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation (CSEO) and Director of the COSPAR International Space Innovation Centre, at the Hungarian Parliament.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed further opportunities for Hungarian–Cypriot cooperation in the fields of space research and space innovation. Following the discussions, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, providing a stable institutional framework for deepening bilateral space cooperation and promoting future joint projects.
The conclusion of the agreement was supported by the outstanding preparatory work of Dr. Krisztina Lakos, Ambassador of Hungary to Cyprus, contributing to the further strengthening of Hungarian–Cypriot space diplomacy.
