On 28 September 2025, the Puli Club held the opening ceremony of the new school year at the Embassy Residence in Nicosia.
The ceremony was opened with welcoming remarks by President Dr. Katalin Szép-Theoris, followed by the joint singing of the Hungarian National Anthem. After recitations by the younger students, the award ceremony of the recitation competition—announced for the fifth time on the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Poetry—took place.
As in previous years, the event was held under the patronage of Ambassador Dr. Krisztina Lakos.
It was a special pleasure to welcome three scouts from the Hungarian Scout Association Abroad, who brought the world of scouting closer to the children through games and joint activities, while adults had the opportunity to learn more about the movement through an engaging presentation.
The Puli Club launched the new school year with shared experiences, a strong sense of community and good spirits. The organizers thank everyone who joined the event on this beautiful, sunny day.
