The Informal Meeting of Education Ministers (Education, Youth, Culture and Sport) was hosted in Nicosia between 29 and 30 January 2026, on the margins of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The meeting aimed to foster discussions among the EU Education Ministers on strengthening the teaching profession. Hungary was represented by Ambassador dr. Krisztina Lakos.
