Informal Foreign Affairs Council (Trade) Meeting in Nicosia

The Informal Foreign Affairs Council (Trade) meeting was held in Nicosia on 20 February 2026 under the Cyprus Presidency. Ministers discussed ongoing trade dossiers, EU–China trade relations and preparations for the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference. Hungary was represented by State Secretary Boglárka Illés.

The informal meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (Trade) took place in Nicosia on 20 February 2026, on the margins of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The meeting aimed to discuss the ongoing trade dossiers, including bilateral trade agreements, EU-China trade relations and the upcoming 14th World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference. Hungary was represented by Boglárka Illés, State Secretary for Bilateral Relations, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
